The LOST SUB DRIVER SWALLOW surfboard is the latest step in the ongoing evolution of the "Pro_Formance" series surfboards, meaning it’s easier to use. It’s based on the Sub-Driver, a high-performance contest board, but almost anyone with more modest skills can surf this model on a daily basis.
Its design is somewhat radical, with a swallow tail and a slightly wider-than-average nose. The swallow tail provides grip.
The wide nose and tail provide stability in small waves and at low speed. Combined with an overall low rocker and boxy rails, it’s a board that is typically ridden quite short.
CWT Carbon Wrap Technology Construction:
The patented Carbon Wrap technology delivers incredibly light, fast and responsive surfboards without sacrificing durability. The EPS core has no wooden stringer, which has been replaced with carbon strips. These strips run from the tip of the board on the bottom side to the tail on the deck side, creating a unique flex that translates in the water into speed and drive. The board is then laminated with epoxy resin and biaxial fiberglass.
The LOST Carbon Wrap boards are manufactured in the Basque Country by the Olatu factory, owner of the Pukas brand, which also produces boards for the prestigious Al Merrick Channel Islands brand.
