Description

The LOST EVIL TWIN surfboard is an alternative toy for the world of postmodern retro surfing, a mix between a twin fin and single-fin style.

The most unique feature of this board is its "e-wing" tail. Max McDonald is the one who taught Matt Biolos how to shape this type of tail. Max developed them together with the Campbell brothers’ Bonzer designs. Over the last decade, Matt Biolos used them exclusively in a specific line of small-wave boards for Japan, with great success.

Now, for the first time, LOST is introducing the e-wing concept worldwide. The raised wing works with parallel outlines, allowing for greater lateral speed, then drastically reduces the surface area in the tail to control and channel that speed into tight-radius arcs. They create a hyper-extended rail rocker that rolls easily on the wave face, engages and holds through turns. Positioned close to the back foot, the wings provide control and ease of use.

EVIL TWIN features:

• Flat MR-inspired deck and steep, soft rails, combined with a shallow single concave through the center.

• Low tail rocker with deep double-concave vee and round tail, to deliver speed and control.

• Wide outline up front with low entry rocker.

Built exclusively with Futures fins and fin boxes, the EVIL TWIN offers a wide range of fin options, each providing a unique and distinct approach:

• Single fin: for a minimalist style and long, drawn-out turns.

• Twin fin: loose turns, a fast board that’s endlessly playful in small waves.

• Twin + trailer: surf with confidence in powerful waves of all sizes. Matt Biolos’ favorite setup for this board.

• Thruster: for surfers looking for performance.

PU Construction:

LOST boards are manufactured in the Basque Country by the Olatu factory, owner of the Pukas brand, which also manufactures for the prestigious Al Merrick Channel Islands brand. Polyurethane foam core, Silmar polyester resin and Hexcel fiberglass, along with exceptional finishing.

Paint and tinted resin options:

The board can be decorated according to the designs on the website lostsurfboards.net. If you want a special design, choose the appropriate option and, in the "Customize your product" tab, indicate the design reference and desired colors.

Custom dimensions:

It is possible to customize this board with the length, width and thickness you want. To do so, choose the "Custom" option in the size dropdown menu, and indicate the desired dimensions in the "Customize your product" tab.
