The NMD Max K15 PP High Volume bodyboard is designed for riders seeking more width, more volume, more flotation, and most importantly, more fun. Inspired by the wide-nose, straight-rail templates that ruled Newport, California surf in the ’90s, the Max combines a K15 PP core with a high-volume core, offering balanced flex, dynamic response, and increased flotation, ideal for powerful, smooth surfing.
Its 1.5 lb Kinetic K15 PP core provides soft, progressive flex, with instant recoil, enhanced projection, optimized longitudinal stiffness, and exceptional compression strength, remaining 100% waterproof even in warm water (20–25 °C).
The AKU parallel channel system directs water flow optimally, while the CFT stringer, React Mesh, and Wavecushion 8lb PE deck with Q12 backing ensure stiffness, control, and immediate response. The 4 mm Surlyn slick and Clipped Crescent Tail with Tail Piece allow smooth surfing and powerful turns even in critical sections.
The Max also features 55/45 double rails, XFL Nose & Tail Armour, Bull Grips, Buzz-Tech Lamination, and is CNC shaped and hand-finished, guaranteeing a lively, responsive feel and total control.
