Polyester Resin Hegardt H72-UV - 5Kg

The H72-UV Hegardt polyester resin has been specifically made to build surfboards. It doesn’t get hard before being exposed to UV rays.

While traditional resin such as Silmar 249BB gives you only 10/20mins to laminate your board, H72-UV resin gives you more than an hour and allows you to work without stress. The resin gets hard within a few minutes once exposed to sunlight or UV lamp.

We recommend to laminate your board in a dark room and to expose it to sunlight when you are finished only. According to sunlight intensity, it can take only 3minutes for the resin to solidify. It works even if the weather is cloudy and temperature doesn’t matter. It only impacts on the resin stickiness.

The H72-UV resin is kept in metal bottles with small tops which allows no light through (net weight: 5kg)

Warning: 

Resin is irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin. It is also inflammable and should be used with caution:

- Avoid contact with skin

- Use with gloves

- Wear carbon filter mask when using, regularly change filters

- Always work in a ventilated place

Resin preservation:

- take precautionary measures against static discharges

- store in a cool, dry place protected from sunlight

- it can last from 8 to 12 months according to storage precautions

- We recommand to test the resin before using it
