Description

The LITTLE WING by LOST Surfboards is a short, fun surfboard born from the creative and sometimes eccentric mind of Mason Ho. Designed to maximize enjoyment in small to medium waves, this high-performance board focuses on delivering speed, maneuverability, and fun for everyday surfing.

Inspired by the classic small-wave model, the Baby Buggy, the LITTLE WING is a magical evolution with Mason Ho’s signature touch. This design started from one of Mason’s favorite boards, a 5'6" Baby Buggy, keeping many of the elements that made it special in small waves, but adding improvements to make it even more agile and explosive.

The main features of the LITTLE WING include:

- Short, wide outline that generates speed and lift, delivering surprising performance in a compact yet powerful board.
- Full, forgiving nose combined with a pronounced “hip” in the back, wide and curvy around the front fins but more refined behind the rear fin, which adds precision in turns compared to the original Baby Buggy.
- Low, fast entry rocker that delivers instant acceleration and down-the-line speed. The relaxed curve through the center blends into a pronounced tail lift for quick, nimble turns.
- Soft, rounded rails in the front and middle, tapering into fast, sharp rails in the tail, providing control and responsiveness.
- Deep concave—the most pronounced in LOST’s high-performance surfboard range—running through the center of the board and intensifying in the fin area, creating lift and pop in soft, small waves.
- Extra thickness along the center line extending toward the nose, improving paddling ability and generating drive, while the moderately rounded deck keeps the rails soft and forgiving for smooth carves.
- Double-concave deck in the tail, designed to Mason’s preferences, as he prefers not to use tail pads. This detail offers extra grip and a “cozy” feel from the very first surf.
