Surfboard blank or foam blank is used to make the core of surfboards. It is polyurethane or EPS foam. Polyurethane foam come with a wooden stringer in the middle to increase the blank's rigidity, prevents its twisting and help the shaper to work. EPS foam are stringerless, as they must be laminate with a carbon reinforcement in the middle. Our surfboard blanks are available crude or pre-shaped. To pre-shape your board, we use a 4 axis CNC router to obtain its near-final form.
A pré-shape is a surfboard in surf in its raw material. It is a raw foam that we have gone through a numerical control machine that has left the shape of the future surfboard. That is to say, it is not a finished board, but it is the base to be able to how to shape your own surfboard .
