The Sub Scorcher-STING is a surfboard that combines a relaxed rocker with a conservative outline and extra volume, designed to offer an easy and fun surfing experience. Its small-wave specific design features a single concave that transitions into a vee through the tail, making it easier to maneuver and plane in softer conditions.
Initially popularized by the talented surfer Kolohe Andino, the original version of the Sub Scorcher became a huge success. Its smooth rocker and wide, stable outline allow for easy paddling and effortless glide, making it one of the best options for those looking for a modern board.
Starting from the original swallow tail shape of the Sub Scorcher, the STING design was introduced, adding a bit more width in the center and more rocker along the rails, together with a reduction of area in the back, beginning about 45 cm from the tail. This sharp reduction in width makes it easier to execute quick, radical turns in tight sections as well as on open wave faces. With generous dimensions and solid volume, the SUB SCORCHER-STING is a playful, user-friendly performance board for everyone, perfect for initiating radical maneuvers with ease.
