The Firewire Taylor Jensen Pro Mid is a mid-length surfboard designed by Dan Mann and three-time world champion Taylor Jensen. Inspired by the high-performance TJ Pro Longboard model, this board combines easy paddling, stability, and maneuverability, making it ideal for surfers of all levels.
Whether you're looking to step down from a longboard or add more volume for smaller days, the TJ Pro Mid is a versatile board that adapts to any condition and surfer type.
✔️ Flat rocker with a slight kick at the nose, for fast paddling and vertical drops
✔️ Double concave underfoot, providing fluidity and control
✔️ Rails transitioning from round and neutral at the nose to a hard edge at the tail, for precise turns and better grip
✔️ Effortless stability and performance, even on flat sections
✔️ Available with 5 fin boxes, allowing 2+1, Quad, or Single Fin setups
✔️ Compatible with the new Firewire Velox (Quad) fin set for optimal performance
The TJ Pro Mid performs exceptionally well in a wide range of waves: from shin-high to double overhead. It's undoubtedly the perfect board for your one-board quiver, whether for boat trips or daily surfing all year round at your local spot.
Volcanic Epoxy Construction:
The Volcanic construction uses basalt fibers extruded from crushed and melted volcanic rocks. These fibers have characteristics similar to carbon in terms of strength and weight, but are more environmentally friendly as they are of organic origin. Basalt fiber is resistant to chemicals and is used in the manufacturing of surfboards, as well as in the aerospace industry for rockets and jet engines. It has higher resistance to high temperatures and greater elasticity than traditional carbon fiber.
