The MEKP (methyl ethyl ketone peroxide) catalyst can be mixed with polyester resin to harden Silmar resin. The ideal operating temperature is 20 degrees.
It's very important to carefully measure MEKP when mixing it with resin. Too much catalyst will make the resin yellow. If you use too little, you won't obtain the desired result.
The catalyst is kept in a glass container.
