Description

The Lost SUB DRIVER 2.0 is the latest upgraded version of LOST Surfboards’ high‑performance small‑wave surfboard. Since its creation, every version of the SUB DRIVER has been the most successful board in small‑wave competitions, standing out for its ability to adapt to unpredictable conditions and deliver exceptional performance for both professional and advanced surfers.

This board has been used by legends such as Kolohe Andino, who won five WQS events with it in 2011, and by Mick Fanning, who after trying one of Kolohe’s SUB DRIVERs said it had “completely changed his perception of what a contest board can be.” Over time, the SUB DRIVER has become a key tool in the quivers of LOST team competitors.

The SUB DRIVER 2.0 has been designed to excel in small to medium waves, ideal for soft point breaks and messy beach breaks. This version is a constant evolution, refined for elite surfers like Griffin Colapinto and a new generation of professional surfers, yet versatile enough for any moderately skilled surfer to use as a daily driver.

Key design updates:

- Wider, more forgiving nose: Provides extra stability for airs and improves paddling in weak waves, generating more down‑the‑line speed in small surf.
- Tail outline adjustment: The width in the tail area offers a stable platform, while the angled hip allows tight, powerful turns, making the board easier to handle.
- More thickness through the center line: This improves paddling power and generates extra drive off the front foot, without sacrificing maneuverability or the ability to perform radical turns.
- Deep concave in the back third: Helps generate lift and speed, while the vee off the tail allows for a smooth release of water for more controlled turns.

The SUB DRIVER 2.0 maintains a balance between speed and control in small waves thanks to its wider outline in the nose and tail, which also makes it shorter and more agile than other high‑performance boards like the DRIVER 2.0.

If you’re looking for a proven and refined small‑wave surfboard, the SUB DRIVER 2.0 is the ultimate choice, backed by some of the best surfers in the world.

PU Construction:

LOST boards are manufactured in the Basque Country by the Olatu factory, owner of the Pukas brand, which also produces boards for the prestigious Al Merrick Channel Islands label. Polyurethane foam core, Silmar polyester resin, and Hexcel fiberglass, all finished with exceptional craftsmanship.

Paint and tinted resin options:

The board can be customized according to the designs on the lostsurfboards.net website. If you want a special design, choose the appropriate option and, in the “Customize your product” tab, indicate the design reference and the desired colors.

Custom dimensions:

You can customize this board with the length, width, and thickness you want. To do this, select the “Custom” option in the size drop‑down menu and enter the desired dimensions in the “Customize your product” tab.
