The Lost Sabo_TAJ surfboard is the result of ongoing development between Taj Burrow and Matt Biolos.
Matt Biolos set out to create the most versatile shortboard possible with a minimalist design, essentially providing Taj with an absolute weapon both for competition and for travel... The Sabo_Taj works just as well in a 2'' beach break as it does in 8' Indonesian surf.
Matt Biolos started from the base of the Lost Rock-Up and made improvements and adjustments based on feedback from Taj Burrow and his wide range of shortboard designs. The Sabo_TAJ features a medium rocker that "shifts back", so the entry rocker is low to achieve a fast and responsive board. The tail rocker is more pronounced to provide control and a tight turning radius. It has a shallow single concave under and between the feet that finishes in a double concave, which generates speed in smaller waves and provides stability in larger surf.
The outline is wider than average in the nose, giving the board a forgiving feel. Combined with the low entry rocker, it’s a board that can be ridden shorter and wider than usual.
